Home Study Tips:

  • Take 10 minutes each evening to review what you learned in class that day.  This way it is more likely to stick in your brain as you have seen it more than once in a short period of time.
  • If you like to use flash cards or a study guide take a few minutes to work on those every week so that you don't have to be making them all at once at the end of the semester.  It takes less time and is less stressful.
  • For science it is good to look at the diagrams and figures in the textbook and try to explain what is happening in the picture to yourself.  This will cement it more in your brain and similar diagrams may come up on later exams as well.
  • Relax and think positively! :)  A positive mindset does wonders for how much you will remember later.
