I teach Science and Hockey at Chestermere High School

I am very excited to join the CHS team for the '22-23 school year! I've spent my entire 7 year career teaching junior high Math, Science, PE, and Options in Rockyview and Palliser School divisions, so high school will be a new and welcome challenge for me!

I have a educational background in both Ecology and Applied Public Affairs (TWU) and got my Bachelor of Education from the U of C. Athletics & sport has always been a fundamental part of my life. I was a multisport athlete in highschool (hockey, football, track & field) and I played hockey in university for 4 years. Since then, skating instructing, coaching in numerous sports, spikeball on weekends, and increasingly competetive disc golf tournaments remain constants in my life, not to mention chasing around my own active young girls!

Finally, I love playing games. Whether tabletop board games, challenging puzzles and escape rooms, fantasy and Star Wars-themed roleplaying games, or providing insight as a Nintendo Experience Specialist, I greatly enjoy building relationships with people through these common passions!
