Student Timetables for 22/23
Schedules for the 2022-2023 school year are now available on PowerSchool. To access a student schedule, please click on “Next Year's Schedule” on the left column in PowerSchool. While we have worked very hard these last months to provide all students with schedules that match the requests they made in the spring, if students have requests for educational changes to their schedules they may do so until June 28, 2022. All class change requests must be made through the official class change google form located here: https://forms.gle/5VAFshT2kYehXkQ76. Emailed class change requests will not be accepted.
If you have other questions or need additional support, our School Counsellors are happy to help you via email.

Ms. Guitard – mguitard@rockyview.ab.ca – the counsellor for all students with last names K-Z.

Casino Volunteers
We have a Casino coming up this summer August 1 & 2nd and it is a major fundraiser for our school, and it is also the only fundraiser that our society does.  The last Casino we did was almost 4 years ago, and it raised over $43,000! We can only make this happen with volunteers like you and no experience is necessary.
Please click on the following link and sign up if you are able to help out.

End of the School Year
Thank you to all the students, staff, and parents/guardians who have supported learning in our community this year. As restrictions have been lifted, we have been able to increase opportunities for learning throughout our school. A return to hands-on learning, extracurriculars, and group activities have been a highlight. I wish all our students, staff, and parents/guardians a restful and healthy summer. I look forward to seeing our Grade 10 and 11 students back for another school year in September as well as a new group of students from our feeder schools.

Take care and have a safe, healthy, and fantastic summer.

60th Anniversary Celebration and Hall of Fame Inductions
Chestermere High School is celebrating its 60th Anniversary, and you are invited to join us in this celebration. On Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, the CHS Alumni Association is hosting an Open House to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Chestermere High School. Refreshments will be provided by the school's Culinary Arts department. Last Days of Classes
For the next few days, there are important and significant final assessments that require a quiet and respectful learning environment. The Alberta Government has again mandated Diploma Exams which are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, there will be many classroom-based final assessments throughout the school. All students must help to create a safe and caring learning environment where students can demonstrate their learning without disruption. Behaviours that compromise the safety or learning of students or disrupt the normal operation of our school may have consequences.

Final Re-Assessment Period
Thursday, June 16th to Friday, June 24th is scheduled for student reassessments and academic support for students. This time is optional if students have optimized their achievement but mandatory if they are failing a course. Diploma Exams are also scheduled during this time.

Have a great rest of the week.
